Setiausaha Sulit Kanan Menteri Besar Hantar SMS Ugut Bunuh – ADUN BN

(Buletinonline.blogspot.com. 14 April 2009)

dato’ Menteri Besar iaitu Setiausaha Sulit Kanan Menteri Besar.

Terengganu Speaker claims death threats were a misunderstanding

KUALA TERENGGANU, April 16 – As state leaders were meeting Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak to resolve the power struggle in Terengganu, assembly Speaker Datuk Tengku Putera Tengku Awang was attempting to control the damage by pointing out that Monday’s boycott by 10 Barisan Nasional lawmakers was the result of a misunderstanding.

He also dismissed the security concern raised by the backbenchers led by Ajil representative Datuk Rosol Wahid adding that the text message sent to three BN assemblymen was not a death threat in the Terengganu tongue.

“Only three people received the message, we do not know the origin. It is a misunderstanding because if you look closer at the message it was written in Terengganu language.

"My friends told me the word nyawa (life) means political life not real life,” Tengku Putera told reporters here after chairing the state Umno management committee.

On Monday night, three BN lawmakers Rosol, Halim Jusoh and Zakaria Abdullah received a text message which said, ‘Baik jgn teruskan niat YB, YB tak sayang nyawa?’, from a mobile phone number believed to belong to Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Said’s senior aide Wan Ahamad Wan Muda.

The message was believed to be sent in response to speculation that the assemblymen linked to Datuk Seri Idris Jusoh were planning to table a motion of no confidence against Ahmad.

The three lawmakers and Wan Ahamad have lodged police reports on the threatening text message.

Today the Speaker clarified as the proceeding of the assembly started early, he had no time to verify the reason behind the absence in the morning.

“I couldn't check because it would take time and the misunderstanding resulted in the absence and an empty House,” said Tengku Putera.

The 10 lawmakers returned to the House yesterday on the instruction of the Prime Minister.

Tengku Putera also said that anyone could have sent the message urging everyone to calm down and insisted that the matter has been resolved.

“For me the police must take action because we do not want the matter to be prolonged. I hope the people will calm down. There is no problem here,” said Tengku Putera.

He also denied the mentri besar had mobilised his supporters from Kemaman to gather at the state assembly on Tuesday.

“Anyone can come, before the start of proceeding you would hear me acknowledging the presence of visitors, there was no mobilisation of supporters but when the issue heats up, more people came, I felt good too, because usually the House is empty,” he said.

What BS!

Spin, spin all you want. Didn't know that in Terengganu speak, NYAWA means only political life.
How stupid do you think people are!
So, where is the police, MACC, etc. in investigating and prosecuting Wan Ahamad Wan Muda? Cover up, is it?
No time to check why his ADUNs didn't show up? How long does it take? 5 minutes? Don't have 5 minutes to spare? What are you doing?
Typical UMNO BS. Always thinking that the RAKYAT are so stupid that they can continue to pull wool over people's eyes.

Terengganu "unsuccessful" coup
written by nawawimohamad, April 16, 2009
It is not aborted but temporarily suspended. Ahmad Said should just take the money and get out because without money and power he will ultimately give-in to the pressure.

GUILTY
written by whatever, April 16, 2009
Why is the sender not coming out and clarify to the police?
If he means political life, he should have come foward to clarify that he was misquoted on the very first day of the issue. Am I right?
If he is innocent, why is he still hiding? Where is he?
If someone is accusing you of doing something that you never do, will you stay quiet?
You are GUILTY...
